Mr. Karna is an experienced banker with over 25 years experience having worked in important and leadership roles in Grant Thornton, Rabobank and BNP Paribas in India. He is an India specialist in Consumertech,, Food services , Foodtech, Consumer businesses and Manufacturing domains and has been instrumental in over 100 M&A and structured finance transactions and was recognized as one of the 25 chosen entrepreneurs by IBEF’s “Ordinary Indian, extraordinary Enterprise” book. Maple has published multiple research in Food Services Space over the years.

Mr. Karna, established Maple Capital Advisors Private Limited in 2010 a boutique investment bank based in New Delhi focus on M&A, Private Equity, Structured Credit and early stage investments via Maple Accelerator. Maple Capital Advisors has featured in league tables multiple times since inception as Leading Advisors for Private Equity & M&A in India.

Mr. Karna, is an MBA from McGill University, Canada, a Mechanical Engineer from MIT, Manipal, studied at St Stephen’s College and at Mayo College. He is an avid photographer, enjoys golf, outdoors and has interest in fine arts. He is married to Vaishali also a Private Banker and they have 2 children.
